US Army – Fort Padre

The U.S. Army will be setting up Fort Padre at the Isla Grand Beach Resort for Spring Break 2010. At their footprint, students will be able to take the Army Challenge on the new and exciting obstacle course which will feature a zip line, paintball gun challenge and many other challenging obstacles. The US Army will also have their ever popular mechanical bull free to students as well as numerous free giveaways for everyone! Be sure to stop by!

Victoria’s Secret will be visiting the Isla Grand Beach Resort from March 16-18 giving away bikinis from their 2010 line. Be sure to also check them out at Louie’s Backyard doing 3 Fashion Shows those nights. There will be a Victoria’s Secret prize pack so be sure to visit the VS booth on the Isla Grand walkway to enter the contest (must be in at least a 2009 VS bathing suit).

Yeah, I know this is like a week late, but I’ve been out of town since last Monday, plus I’m lazy. Also, I’m beginning to hate people so my motivation to do anything productive is waning.

Call it disillusionment with humanity if you like, but it seems every time I leave the house, I come home wishing I’d strangled at least two or three of the people I’d met that day, with the expectation that it would actually make the world a better place.

Perhaps my expectations are unrealistic. Perhaps I’m setting the bar too high. Maybe I’m just a dick.

You’ve gotta love Halloween. It’s the only day of the year that you can walk into a club carrying a chainsaw or a blunt edged weapon, so long as it goes with the costume. Next year I’m gonna duct tape a bunch of ice picks to a jumpsuit and say I’m a porcupine.
