The regulars at Jackie’s Biker bar in Pharr, TX may look scary as hell, but they’re really a pretty cool bunch of folks.  Don’t get me wrong.  If you piss ‘em off, they can definitely kick your ass.  It’s common knowledge that bikers rank somewhere between pirates and ninjas when it comes to kickin’ ass, but that’s another discussion altogether.

We were lucky enough to catch up with some of our friends from RGV Magazine, who were promoting the event, as well as special guest – and adult film star – Mackenzee Pierce. (more…)

In keeping with my theme of doing less and less until I’m basically comatose, I didn’t even take a camera to Energetik.org‘s Holidaze party at the Cypress.

Instead of taking pictures all night, I opted to use my precious time for drinking beer and smoking cigarettes simultaneously, without the constant pressure of moving and doing stuff that didn’t include beer and cigarettes. That was so much easier. (more…)
