Were people extra-nice to you, like you were “special”? Yeah? Did you think it was because you looked uber-trendy? Hmm… Did you give any consideration to the idea that everyone thought you were retarded?

If you go to the Yacht Club on a Friday night and they make you stand in line, it’s not because they don’t like you. It’s because yes…there are that many people inside. Be patient. With all the hotties in the club, it is totally worth the wait. (more…)

Kokos Uptown Restaurant

Koko’s Uptown is the prettier upscale version of their popular downtown restaurant with exactly the same food. This is a good thing.

In fact when I compare enchilada plates at other restaurants, Koko’s is always my point of reference. So far, Koko’s is still on top, and I eat a lot of enchiladas.

Service is excellent, bordering on amazing, food portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

Another bonus: Even when it’s busy, parking is good.

Cons
None (except that they’re not open 24 hours and located in my front yard).

Miscellaneous
There is no bar but they do serve alcoholic bevarages. This may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your preferences.
